I know because I was there. From age 13 onward, I experienced irregular periods, along with gut issues, anxiety, fatigue, and disordered eating patterns. My “treatment” option was the “Pill,” accompanied with a dose of fear. I felt so disconnected from my body and had no idea how my fertility worked. It took going to naturopathic medical school myself to learn that all my symptoms were consistent with PCOS, the most common endocrine disorder among reproductive age women. Through my training, I learned lifestyle and nutritional techniques to reverse my symptoms and regain my health.

Yet, it wasn’t until AFTER medical school that I truly learned how my fertility and the procreative system worked. I still vividly remember the first time that I heard the Creighton Model FertilityCare™ Introductory session. I felt incredibly refreshed, affirmed, and excited. I learned that our fertility and health are the same thing. That our fertility matters. Through learning to observe and chart the signs my body gives me on a daily basis, I have grown in trust and appreciation for the wisdom of my body. I have experienced profound healing – in body, mind, and spirit.
